Getting Ready

The bride and bridesmaids get ready at their hotel and the groom and groomsmen at theirs, then everyone gets dressed at the venue, while the setup crew gets it ready for guests.

The bride and the 3 bridesmaids share one room the night before and get ready there. The bridal secretary and the photographer come to them, and two taxis leave for the venue at 12:50 PM.

Groom's hotel
Renaissance Taipei Shihlin

台北士林萬麗酒店, No. 8, Ln. 470, Sec. 5, Zhongshan N. Rd., Shilin. About 20 minutes from the venue by car with traffic.

The groom and the groomsmen stay here the night before. The boxes and the drinks are here too, and the second car leaves for the venue at 11:15 AM.

Garden91. The bridal suite is on the 2nd floor, from 1:25 PM. The groom gets ready on the 1st floor (his own room or a quiet corner, TBC) and stays off the 2nd floor until the first look.

The bride and the 3 bridesmaids get ready in the room they share at the Grand View the night before. The groom and the groomsmen get ready separately at the Renaissance, and both sets of parents at their own homes or hotels.

Personal flowers

The personal flowers arrive at the venue. The day-of coordinator takes delivery, since the bride and bridesmaids are still at the Grand View.

The photographer arrives at the Grand View and shoots the details while the bride's makeup is finished. One photographer, 12:15 – 8:15 PM (8 hours). The bouquet is at the venue, so it's shot there.
