🏛️ Venue

Open questionHow many chairs fit on the balcony with an aisle down the middle? We have about 50 guests.
  • Confirm what's already included on the trellis vs. what our florals and decor team needs to add
  • Staff to guide guests up to the balcony, and the elevator for older guests

💐 Florals & Decor

  • Quote supplemental real and artificial florals to fill out the existing trellis (see "What we want" in The look)
  • Petal scatter down the aisle
  • Ribbons, flowers, or both on the aisle chairs (which: TBC)
  • Trellis and petals done by 3:00 PM, and everything out of sight by 3:10 PM

👯 Wedding party

  • Reserved seat signs for the wedding party, parents, and grandfathers

📷 Photography

  • Wide shot of the chairs and aisle under the trellis
  • Vows under the flowers with the city and hills behind
  • Detail shots of the trellis florals before guests arrive
  • Background music from 3:50 PM while guests find their seats

  • Pack the ceremony speakers at 5:00 PM

The look

The balcony

Where we say our vows. Chairs sit on both sides of an aisle under the trellis. The venue's orchid garlands stay, and we add real and artificial wildflowers hanging from the whole trellis in our palette (coral, purple, gold, blush), so it feels like a floral tunnel. The aisle chairs get ribbons, flowers, or both (which: TBC), and there's no aisle runner. The arch, disco balls, and draped fabric in the inspiration are optional extras we haven't decided on.
